The development of complex software products is a major task. As an outsourcing service provider, for the customer, there are clearly defined steps and processes.We have identified agile development methods and we decided to incorporate all these procedures in all our new projects.

At the heart of the agile software development, the development is set for a time span of 5 weeks. For every 5 week cycle, a set of tasks "Issues" will be compiled by the project manager and his team planned well in the first days. Then this is followed by a development time of about 4 weeks, where normally no new tasks are taken.

In the 5th week, testing will be done according to the test structures and with various automatic test tools. The goal of this is that the product - which contains the defined functions for this phase - is availed to the customer or partner after 5 weeks.After these 5 weeks the process starts again from the beginning and the next development phase can be defined and executed.

According to our experience, this is a good method for all project members. The customer knows what he gets, the developer works on targeted defined functions.In our procedures, we work based on a model developed by ETH Zürich, which, today is used by more than 10000 developers.
